Full Control of Directory but not of files

I am a domain admin for a large company and we just
switched to AD and XP. In one instance, I was trying to
apply permissions and it said my group had Full Control of
the directory, but I couldn't get into the files. Any
ideas?
 
Check advanced permissions to see that you have full permissions to
folders, subfolders, and files and that there are not any deny permissions
there that may apply. Also make sure the directory is not EFS
ncrypted. --- Steve
