ftp.exe

Can anyone tell me what the ftp.exe file located on the system32 folder does?
If I don't want to leave this file in the system, can I just deleted it?

It's the ftp utility, it comes with the operating system. leave well
enough alone. If you want to know mor about it look up FTP in Help.
 
If the users don't need to ftp, will there be any harm in deleting that
specific file?
