FTP copying from server to server?

I'm trying to use IE as an FTP client to backup some files on a UNIX server
to another UNIX FTP server. I'm able to connect to both UNIX FTP servers via
IE without any problem, but there doesn't seem to be a way to copy a file
directly from one to the other. Is this just not possible with IE or is there
a way to make this FTP server to FTP server file transfer work?

After the FTP connect, With 2 windows opened in IE, they are both resized to
1/2 of the desktop side by side and the files are dragged across.
