FTP access failure

Hi,
I'm getting 'winsock error in recv' when I try to connect to one of my
sites. I'm using Psylon ftp which has been ok until now.

On another site I'm getting 'authentication failure' on the password.

Both these sites have been without problems until 3 days ago. I've changed
nothing and are running Win XP Home SP2.

Any ideas please?

try using telnet to connect to the ftp server : telnet servername 21 ,
assuming the ftp server is running on the default port. if you get in with that
then you know its the psylon ftp client software at fault
