FSX Acceleration Exp Pack

To save space on my Raptor 30 Gb HDD I have FSX installed on a second drive
(Drive D).
When I try to install the Acceleration Exp Pack it tells me that I must have
FSX installed and cancels the installation program. Is there a work around
for this?
Running WinVistaSP1 and FSX SP1

Did you just move the Flight Simulator folder, or actually install it to the
new location?
