Frozen mouse

While working with PS Elements, my cursor froze - I had to
reboot system and mouse was still frozen. I checked
connections everything is okay. This is not a new mouse.
It is a wireless scroll logitech with Win XP. Device
manager states hardware is working fine. Help

the device manager only sees the device sending signal to
the mouse...it does not see the mouse.
check for updated drivers from mouse vendor...logitech.
make sure the signal has clear sight to/from device to
mouse.

Try replacing the battery. My wireless Logitech mouse eats them.
