frozen desktop backgrounds

ok here goes

we have a new system and straight away i picked up a Homeshare spy which i
have hopefully deleted.
since then my desktop backgrounds are frozen.
i cant open any of them or apply changes although other user of the computer
can.
i have read and followed most of the other newsmessages about this problem
but still have no luck.
i am usuin windows xp home
anything else you need to know ?

3 suggestions

1.) quit surfing porn (or tell who is to stop)
2.) use firefox
3.) recreate the profile for the user with the problem

I would take a closer look @ the "documents and settings\userwhowasinfected"
directory.

If that was not helpful, hopefully someone else is..
