Frontpg.exe has generated errors

I have just started to get this error:

"Frontpg.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. You will
have to restart the program. An error log is being created."

This only happens when I try and create a new page on my web sites. I can
edit and change current pages fine.

The error occurs when the Save file box comes up. It gets partway through
loading the folders and files when the error comes up.

What can I do to get rid of this problem??

I have the company that is hosting the sites looking on their end, what can
I look for/do on my end??

Thanks

Bob

Hi Dave,

The things I would look to do are:

Doing either a repair or reinstallation of FrontPage. You can do a repair
through the help menu..and may need the installation cd during the process.

You might also go to Steve's site and download and run FrontPage cleaner.
You should run that when FrontPage is closed.

Have you tried repairing the installation? Is it possible that your computer
has a virus, worm, or Trojan Horse? What software have you installed after
installing FrontPage?

There are really only 2 possible scenarios:

1. The FrontPage installation has been corrupted. You can fix this by doing
a repair of the installation.
2. Your OS has been corrupted in some way. You can fix this by repairing or
re-installing the OS.

If you have a virus, worm, or a Trojan Horse, you willhave to clean your
system first, and then determine what has been corrupted.
