Some of our instructors use FrontPage forms to gather
assignments from students in their online courses. When a
form results page's content (an HTML file) is edited to
remove old responses, the form then generates a FrontPage
error. The form results bot is still on the page, and
the form properties are pointing to the right file, the
form just won't work. We've had this problem on and off
over the years with different versions of FP and can fix
it by resetting the site's permissions but would like to
find out what causes the problem. The only document I
could find on the MS site that seemed to apply was about
writing results directly to the form page and we aren't
doing that. It was stable for a couple years but we are
experiencing problems again after we published our Web
content to a new server. We are running IIS6 and have
all the latest updates and patches on our systems. Any
insight into the cause would be appreciated as it is
frustrating for the instructors and students. Thank-you.
