Frontpage Express 2000 and 2002 comparison & FrontPage Express

R

Ray Christmas

Dear Microsoft,
My hardware/software supplier sold me version 2002 18
months ago when I intended to set up my own web site.
However, that was delayed till now.
I have bought a book published by Prima Tech (Colletta
Witherspoon) entitled "Microsoft FrontPage 200 - Nice &
Easy"

There seems to be little difference between the first
opening page of the two except that down the left-hand
side of this page in the 2000 version, it has a vertical
menu with icons for:

Page
Folders
Reports
Navigation
Hyperlinks
and possibly others disappearing below the bottom margin.

which is not on the opening page of the 2002 version.

DOES THIS INDICATE THAT AS I GET FURTHER INTO MY LOADED
2002 VERSION, THIS 2000 VERSION BOOK MAY NOT BE RELEVANT?
If so, I will return it to the bookshop for a refund
and look for a book on the 2002 version.

ALSO, your downloading website doesn't seem to have a
capability to download FrontPage Express, unless I have
missed it.

FrontPage Express doesn't exist
anymore, except maybe on some old
CD's with Internet Explorer.

To view or have the icons down the left side
in 2002, on the FrontPage toolbar click "View"
and then click "Views Bar"

Hey Steve -

I see that you didn't tell Ray they you aren't Microsoft. ;-) But then

Ray started his comment, "Dear Microsoft" and proceded to tell you what his
issue was. But he was kind enough to tell you that your download site isn't
working. :)
