Frontpage changes my tables to suit itself

When I save, it adds table code such as widths that I don't want . . .
I don't want it to add anything to my code.
Is there a way to turn this off?

When I type in the design view and then look in the HTML
view, FP has added code to render the text for the
browser. Are you sure this is not what is happening with
your tables? It will help if you copy the code you want
(from HTML view), skip a few spaces in your post, and copy
the code from HTML view when FP is finished with it, so we
can see the difference.
