FrontPage-best choice?

I'm a small publisher of sheet music for churches and schools. Completely new
to web creation & design, but willing to put in the work.

Site needs to have categories and lists within these; sample music pages;
photos; downloadable music files (mp3 probably).

About 100 items in catalog; half require sound clips. Catalog is growing
slowly.

I don't sell on the site, just refer customers to my retailers.

'Fancy' is not important; Functional, easy to navigate, fairly easy to write
and manage is. This is an evening job; I'm a high school teacher by day.

Very familiar with MS Office products. Is FrontPage 2003 my best bet? (Don't
have capacity for Vista version right now.)

FrontPage will work just fine. The only problem might be finding a copy to
purchase since FrontPage was discontinued. You may have to try some of the
online stores. The new product from Microsoft is called Expression Web. It
will do everything you're looking for as well. See
http://www.microsoft.com/expression/

Don't know what you mean by "vista version".

Expression Web works just as well on Windows XP.
Frontpage and Expression are web design tools so yes, either one is the best
suited to web design - as opposed to Word or Publisher, if that's what
you're asking.
