Frontpage and ClipBoard

Has anyone found a reason for this?

Frontpage 2003 clears the Clipboard on Open... and this happens both on
my Windows xp machine as well as Windows 2000 machine...

I tried to read the newsgroups, nowhere is the answer... some say it's
some add-ins, etc... But, can't be... because both my computers with
different OS have the same problem...

1 - Frontpage close, copy any text.
2 - Open frontpage 2003
3 - Switch to design view
4 - Paste... (ohoh!! nothing to paste).

i then have to copy again, and paste into frontpage... but it does not
work when frontpage is closed before i copy/cut.

My understanding is that this is a safety feature.

As a workaround, paste into Notepad and then open FrontPage.
Then copy from Notepad and paste to FrontPage.
( which is always a good thing to do anyway )

What & how are you pasting from
I just copied your message from newsreader [Ctrl][C]
and opened FP 2003 and a new page in design view and did a [Ctrl][V] to paste it
No problems
