FrontPage (4.0) meta-tags suppress background

On the home page, the insertion of meta tags unfortunately suppresses the
background. Any advice would be welcome. Thank you.

Where are you seeing that happen? Show me a page where you have inserted
the metas and the background has been suppressed, please.

Works here, but you've used the space bar to position images and that is going to give you
fits in different size view ports, or if a user increases the font size.

I see your background graphic just fine. It's close to impossible that
inserting meta tags would do that. Are you sure?

I posted this thread on behalf of a neighbour. Over the weekend he is
planning to re-insert the meta-tags in the home page, thus suppressing the
background.
Hopefully, this will throw more light on the problem.

My neighbour has now re-inserted the meta-tags on his home page so that you
can see that the background has now unfortunately been suppressed.

Hopefully, this will give a clue as to the cause of the problem.
