You mean like a webcam?

I think you have to use ftp with webcams. I'm in the process of researching this myself. So far I am considering adding a subweb with a page just for the ftp webcam software to post the images to. Subweb because of the ftp. That's as far as I've gotten so far.

Crash,
There is/ was a free download at www.coffeecup.com just for this. I don't
have any webcam inclinations at present but scanned the copy describing it
and it looked interesting.

Thanks! I think I've seen that one before.

Some of them require you to send the posted pix to their host...that kinda thing...which I didn't like.

I found a freeware one I think its WebCam2000...simple exe, no hooks. FTP's images to your own isp on whatever sched you want. With a cheep input card and an old video camera (i have one with a busted tape transport but the rest of cam still works) you can put up some high quality images..up to 20 fps (too high for me anyway) I'm gonna do a 5 min refresh.

Anyway, no time to play with it now.

I guess we went way ot on this one :)

Thanks to both of you. I worked on it some today and
think I have it figured out. I am going to remote site
Friday to set up there. I will let you know.

Please do. I'm interested in this too. I do a lot of remote security stuff and have been trying to find time to play with remote CCTV.
