Frontpage 2003 won't show Storefront

Brightbelt

Hi -
I'm on FP 2003, Win XP Pro. I have just installed Storefront Advanced Ed.
6.0 shopping cart software into Frontpage as a plug-in to do ecommerce.
Now, when I try to start the FP program, one of 3 things happens:
1) I get a red-x error window titled "clsFPApplication:
cFPApplication_WindowActivate" and a number 5 Error that says "5: Invalid
procedure call or argument". So I click 'OK', then a Jbots Window comes up
and says something like 'Cannot find Command Prompt'. And the Jbots window
WON'T let me click OK out of it, so I have to do 'Contr-Alt-Del' to get out
of the FP program.
2) I get into FP fine, but there are no menus for Storefront - it is like I
never even installed it.
3) I get into FP and my Storefront menu is there and everything seems to
work ok.

I have already contacted Storefront's tech suport and they say it is a FP
problem. So I'm a bit stuck. I appreciate any help you could lend me.
Thanks !! Frank Bright

Try un-installing all add-ins except SF and see if that solves the problem, if yes, then start
adding the Add-ins back in one at a time.

Hi Thomas and all -
That didn't really fix it. I even uninstalled Storefront and reinstalled
it into FP cleanly, with no add-ins. I'm open to any suggestions at this
point....Frank

I'm wondering if my .NET Framework is perhaps not configured correctly.
There is a tab in the options window for assigning a default location for
ASP.NET Control assemblies. I'm fishing here, but who knows. I hope someone
can help, Many Thanks,...Frank

When I do an online test (Both on Microsoft's site and Storefront's) to
check for my NET Framework, the test fails and says it cannot find the NET
Framework on my computer. But when I look into the add/remove programs area
of my computer, Microsoft NET Framework 1.1 is there. So I'm at a loss. Help
! Frank

Do you have the SP1 installed for Microsoft NET Framework

Hi Steve -
Yes I checked and I do....I went ahead and reinstalled it just in case, but
it made no real difference.
Should I call Microsoft Tech support or what ? This Storefront Advanced Ed
6.0 software was very expensive and I have 30 days to either make it work
with Frontpage or return it. Thanks for your continued assistance, ...Frank
