FrontPage 2003 upgrade

I bought a used copy of Office professional 2000 from a used book/software
store, and have been using FrontPage for my website design. I am interested
in installing the upgrade for FP2003. I have the keys and license to Office
2000, but I am not sure if I ever registered it.

Will I have any problems installing the upgrade, or should I just go buy the
full FrontPage 2003 and install that instead?

Thx for any help.

Getting to 2003, one way or another, has many benefits over FP 2000.
The only main point that I want you to consider is that there is talk of a
new release. I'm not sure if it will be a 2006 version or an early 2007
version. Maybe you should research that issue. It depends on what you plan
to spend for this upgrade/full version. I know that I would be ticked at
myself if I paid to upgrade, then a new release comes out.

I'm not positive on this release, just heard other news groups discussing
this. Sorry to mud up the waters for you.

Good luck

Did some research myself... after my reply to your post.
Office 2007 will come out in the second half of the year. They don't have a
firm release date yet. It will include FrontPage 2007, therefore FrontPage
will come out as a separate release in 2007 too.

Therefore, being a year away is one factor to consider (and of course the
price of the 2007 version).

This year or next, "Microsoft Expressions Web Designer" is the replacement
for Frontpage.

Okay, I didn't know that but that is still great information for EOlson to
know.
Thanks very much.

Thanks for the info.
That is good for EOlson to know too.

FrontPage, as we know it, will basically no longer exist ;-)
