FrontPage 2003 NOT BETA

I am running a pre-release that is NOT the beta version, but I see a few
problems with it already.

One thing is this statement:
<script language="JavaScript1.2" fptype="dynamicanimation"
src="file:///C:/Program%20Files/Microsoft%20Office/OFFICE11/fpclass/animate.
js">
</script>

Anyone who knows anything will look at this linking and know it is wrong.
FP 2002 did not do this. What is the problem?

You using the script on a real web server with real FP ext and logging into
it live?

If not, then this is the same thing as all the other noobs do, not importing
the stuff into a live web and using it there.

No I am not using FP to publish OR script publish. I just use FP 2003 to
nest tables and a few other things. Then I save into file structured
folders and then FTP up to a love webserver that does NOT have FP extensions

I didn't know I had to "import" the animation.js? I upgraded from FP 2002
and it started to do this all by it's self. In fact, for some reason the
other animation.js is still there, but FP 03 wants to put this other one in
when I save the file.

PS: I always import images and files into FP if I want to use them on the
current web

You must have a web open and not just a page.

Thomas, that is all I have is webs in "my webs" directory. Are "web"
referenced any different in FP2002 than 03? I didn't change a single thing,
all I did was upgrade. I am not a newb or a novice to FP at all. In fact
I write most of my own code, but I utilize FP for optimization and Internet
Explorer configurability. I have about 30 "webs" in the folder. (folder
with a little picture of a world)

FP2003 changed a few of the names, but in general you must first have a web
open before you work on any pages.

Yes, I open a web, then I open the page. This I have been doing since the
inception of FP

Any other Ideas?

Tony,

As long as you are open a web first, you should not end up with a absolute
path to the file system.
