Front Page Express

My old PC has Front Page Express, which I use to manage
(on a voluntary basis) the website for a local nonprofit.
Is there any way to copy the software to my laptop? Front
Page Express is the only reason I still use the older PC...

Thank you.

Hi D. Silver,

I don't recall the URL but there a location that you can download the FP
Express software. Try doing a search on Google.com

The product does not exist any more, so you cannot get a new copy. You could
copy the files over, but you would also have to copy over all registry
entries and any dependent DLLs. This is possible, but even with tools like
OLEView, et al, it would take a large amount of time.

I would talk to the non-profit about shelling out a few bucks for the full
FrontPage. Microsoft has great deals for non-profit organizations, and, in
some cases, even donates software.

You might find an archive site somewhere in the world that still has FP
Express, if it is really worth the search for you.

Thanks to everyone for their help. I seem to have
downloaded FPE, but I can't save a file after changing
it. I get a 13! error (lucky number, eh?). Any
suggestions?
