front page closes

When I try to open my 'index' page, front page closes without asking or
anything. I then have to reopen the program. What is wrong and how (or can
I) fix it?

Run FP Cleaner http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm (it's free) and if
that doesn't work try Detect and Repair from the FrontPage Help menu

I am having the same problem after deleting all of the tmp files on my hard
drive. I checked the FP error message, located in the Temp directory on my
hard drive named wecerr.txt and found the error.

Apparently, my FP password was one of the deleted tmp files since wecerr.txt
said, "You are not authorized to perform the current operation"

I logged into my server, changed the password for the website, and viola! FP
poped up a user name and password prompt... this resolved my problem.

Hope this helps, and SHAME on you Microsoft, for ignoring such a wide spread
problem!!! (As usual)
