Front Page 2000 Publishing to http

I can open my web in both my C drive and http site, but I can only publish
down to the C drive, not up to the web. If I try to do that, it doesn't want
to accept my id and password. I won't get an error message, it just won't
connect. By the way, when I open from the http site, I have to try about 5
times to get it to accept the log-in. Does anybody know where the problem
lies?

To publish down to your PC must mean you were connected to the server (and
therefore logged on successfully). Use the same logon details to log on to
publish up to the server. I don't see why one way would work and not the
other.

I'd check with your host - it is a problem their end.

That's why I am asking here. I have been unable to get an answer. I am
wondering if it has something to do with XP. It happens regardless of who
the host is.
