Front Page 03. How do I insert windows metafile clipart?

I am trying to create a website and want to use windows metafile clipart
without the white space. When I insert it, it becomes a .gif with the white
space. Surely, this does not have to be. What am I doing wrong?
 
Use the transparency tool in FP, after you've inserted the image into your design. Select the color of the image you want to be transparent...be aware you may get some jaggies depending on the image.
