Hi,
How do I make a rule that puts mail in a folder if it is from someone *or*
has a specific word in the subject line. When I try I always get *and*.
Thanks in advance

Hi Jan,
A very simple procedure. You are using Outlook 2003? I'm not sure all these
options or instructions will work with 2000 but I'll list it for you anyway.
1. Go to the Rules and Alerts.
2. New Rule
3. Start from a blank rule.
4. Select "from people or distribution list"
5. Select "with specific words in the subjest line".
6. Add your address.
7. Add your subject line words.
8. Clcik "Next".
9. Select "Move it to the specified folder".
10. Add the folder.
11. Finish.

Your done.

Thanks, but this is exactly what I tried so far. I get _and_ instead of
_or_, obviously not a small difference.

Sue Mosher's method works, of course, but is not very elegant to make two
rules for one task.

I have Outlook 2003.
