Unlikely that you will see more than 40% speed increase, probably be in the
region of 25%, is that enough?
Hardware DirectX 9 support is not needed yet, except for bragging reasons.
The Ti4200 is a good 8.1 card.
(Now if it were a GF420 things would be different.)
