I have some lotus files with the extensions: .ADX, .APR, .dbf, .vew.
I need to convert them to M$ Excel. I have a Lotus SmartSuite millennium
edition 9.0 release......it has a crack straight from the center hole on the
cd to the center of the "data" area. CD does not autorun, cannot copy from
cd to a folder on HDD.

Try looking to see whether there are any ODBC drivers that can read Approach
files. I did a quick search at www.lotus.com and there were too many hits
for me to wade through, but you might be able to narrow it down (or do a
search at Google)

I know IBM distributes ODBC drivers that let you read data from Lotus Notes.
