from function in exel via ODBC source

How do I connect to a ODBC database from Fx (funktion) ex
DSUM. The first part (Database)
= DSUM (Database;field;conditionarea)

Unless you bring the data into excel using something the Get External Data
from the Data menu, then DSUM won't work. DSUM only works with Excel data
tables.
