from field shows nothing

I posted this yesterday and I realize I forgot the
question part of it. So here it is again.

Hi, I have a user who has a very large inbox. Everything
is fine with it for the most part. Names appear in the
from field as they should except for when you scroll down
and get to some of the older emails, there is nothing in
the from field. It goes blank. Also, once you reach that
point, in the sent date field, the date changes to none.
This particular user is running Win 98 SE, and outlook
2000, and we have exchange 2003 also if that helps, but
this problem was there with previous versions of
exchange. Does anyone know why or how to fix this
problem. Thanks in advance for any help

I have had this same problem for quite some time, and so far no one here on
this newsgroup has been able to suggest a solution.

In my situation, I am using Outlook 2002, and this is occuring with POP3
email, under Win XP Home edition.
