On the Effectiveness of Aluminium Foil Helmets: An Empirical Study

<g,d&r...vvf>

I notice that the report of the "empirical study" promises to
"conclude with a few design guidelines for constructing more
effective
helmets." However, no such design guidelines are presented. Should we
be concerned?

Only if the one you're wearing starts getting uncomfortably warm! (but
then, I usually just pour liquid nitrogen over it....)

Oooo! I didn't even see that part! It makes it even worse! Anyhow, could

STILL, bring a ladder with you, Heirloom! You & Bear!

Speaking of Friday humor, Saturday works too, and since you mention duct
tape--for about four weeks now, I've been running my 1970 Datsun pu (daes
that provide a laugh too? -- but you haven't seen it!) regularly 100 miles a
day with a large hole in the exhaust pipe sealed with tin can held on by
duct tape. I didn't think it would work but it lasts nearly a week and a
half before I have to put on more duct tape! <Vbg>

Joe

You were doing this BEFORE poatt's major advancements in tinfoil helmet
design? BETTER check whether he has infringed on your patents, & report
back to us! We will deal with HIM!

Oh. I must have jumped to an unwarranted conclusion, then. So sorry. I
GUESS you must be using those tweezers on Bear fur, then. And I THOUGHT
it sounded like his roar too in that other post!

Poooo-ATT! IF you have infringed upon his PATENT, we must put you into a

| I have one of foil. And one made out of a, pounded out, 3lb coffee
can.
| The coffee can is better for outside use. Due to it being more dense.
Keeps
| your head dry in a rain storm. But causes alot of concern during an
| electrical storm.
| I tried a configuration of a 9volt battery and a FM frequency booster
wired
| to a foil hat. Thinking this may block more focused high strength
signals. I
| have experienced no difference except I can see better in the
dark.Which
| causes me to sleep less restful.
| Plus since I've been useing these my kids don't come by for visits
very
| much anymore.

Sorry about that--the last time the truck got totalled (it has been 3 times
in terms of insurance co., more if you count uninsured as this particular
incident was) some guy well on his way hit it while it was parked in front
of our house at 12:30 at night--no insurance, no license, he does this
regularly apparently--and sheared off the pair of 12 mm bolts holding the
rear bumper on the frame, putting a 4 inch twist in the diamond plate
bumper.

I haven't got it straightened yet, so you can't tie anything to it, as it's
not on.

Sorry about that!

Besides, I wouldn't patent it--in the spirit of RedGreen--use it in health,
both good and poor!
Joe

Well, I can't find poatt, anyhow.

I don't think there is any infringement. I believe the tin can falls under
public domain. Plus the two versions in question are used for two totally
different applications. I've got a hat...he's got a patch...with duct tape. I
don't use duct tape.
Did you know in some states you have to be 18yo to buy duct tape?
Something to do with smoking it or licking the glue to make you high. When I
heard this I came to the conclusion...Today's teens have way too much idle
time on their hands.

Still my lawyers are looking for a red wagon. But don't worry! I'll tell
them shortly there is no bumper on that car & to use string instead of
duct tape. Looks like Bear is starting his evictions!

Over here we have problems with aboriginal youth who like to sniff
petrol. The "solution" is for taxpayers to subsidise a supply of
expensive "odourless" aviation gasoline to remote black communities.
