XP is getting a little slow and cranky after 3 years so I want to
reinstall it. I have 2 hard drives, C: and F: with XP installed on C:
I have cleaned out F: and formatted it. What I think I would like to do
is make a new install of XP on F: I have my original XP CD and a
Microsoft SP2 CD.

Should I change the BIOS to open reading the CD drive D: and install XP
& SP2 on F: then switch the cabling so C: becomes F: and F: becomes C:?

If so, can I uninstall the old installation of XP? How?
Are there other issues I should consider?

Remove the present C drive.. jumper the other drive as 'master' and attach
it to the end of the IDE cable.. do the fresh install of XP having set the
boot order in BIOS to CD - IDE 0 - Floppy..

When finished, do all updates.. then reconnect the old C drive as a slave to
the newly installed drive..
