Fresh Install of Windows XP

I have used WipeDrive on a hard drive in a system that previously had the
same Operating System installed that I am attempting to re-install now.

My problem is that I continue to get an error "Stop:0x0000006F" along with a
SESSION3_INITIALIED_FAILED error message displayed on the blue screen of
death.

I have tried this repeatedly with the same result.

What am I missing? Is there a way to over-ride this?

For such simple operations why rely on 3rd party software....Just doesnt make
sence.Try booting to xp cd,recovery,typeiskPart In DiskPart delete the
partition,create one,then press ESC key,type:EXIT Reboot to xp cd,select,
install xp.
