Frequent hangs

About 4 - 5 x / minute the cursor freezes - hell,
everything freezes - then comes back to life, the
characters inputted blaze across the screen and
everything is normal for another 20 seconds.

Is this a known bug or machine-specific incompatibility?

Any inputs?

Could possibly be spyware wreaking havoc. Restart your computer and run a
full system scan in safe mode. On scan page select Scan Options > Full
System Scan.
