french dictionary

I am a user of Outlook Express that came with IE6. Obviously the spell
checker dictionary is in English. Is there a way to obtain a free French
spelling dictionary for use within Outlook Express?

Thank you.

I found out how to do it!

Apparently Outlook Express uses whatever dictionary Word has installed.
Word comes with several languages, including French, on the Office suite CD.
So when I installed French in Word, it became available in OE.

However, MS Word has an option to "automatically determine which language is
used in the text. If I write in English, it uses the English spelling
dictionary. If I write in French it transparently uses French. That
transparent automatic language switch apparently does not exist in OE - or
does it and I missed it? So far it seems I have to manually go into
Options/Spelling and change to the required language. Still better than not
having it at all, but is there a way to do that more easily, like by macro
or something?

Thank you.
