freeze-up

can any tell me why my computer freezes when i hit any key on my
keyboard...sometimes it don't do it, but 90% of the time it freezes,ctrl-alt
- delete
don't even work...I'm running xp home.

The Keyboard has one of the highest priorities on a PC. Have you
tried an alternate keyboard to see if it is defective ? Also does your
keyboard connect to the purple PS2 socket or USB ? While this
may sound obvious if it's a Wireless keyboard have you changed the
batteries lately ?

thanks, but i tried 2 other keeboards,still same...it connects, ps2...its not
wireless
