Freeze Pane

I have a sheet (A1:D200) which is splitted horizontally and vertically by
Window/Freeze Panes. How can I put on the column E (the first column without
data) an Automatic Shape (with some info text in it) which will remains
frozen and always visible during scrolling?
Thanks

Girapas, first I would remove the existing splits (Window > Unfreeze panes).
Then I would create the AutoShape.

Let's say your AutoShape covers cells E1:E5. Select Cell F6 and Window >
Freeze Panes. That will freeze Columns A-E and Rows 1-5.

Note that when freezing panes, you freeze all columns to the left of, and
all rows above, the cell pointer.

If you want only the shape to be visible (and not column E), consider
using a custom toolbar with the text in an autoshape in the toolbar.
