Although the majorgeeks site says the license is freeware, I have my
doubts. At a minimum it's registerware, and my guess is it's not what any
of us would call freeware at all.

I took a look on the author's website (http://www.spamfighter.com) and
could find no mention at all that this "pro" version would turn into a
lite "freeware" version after 30 days. Only on the majorgeeks website
could any mention of this be found.

Also, from reading the "review" on majorgeeks is this: "Install is a
snap, but requires an online registration." and "This is a trial version
that can be converted to a limited freeware version at the end of 30 days
for $25.00." What? You've got to pay $25 to turn it into the freeware
"lite" version?!? (The "pro" version is $29 per year.) This "freeware" is
also only for personal use (not commercial), and it adds a footer to all
your emails as further advertisement.

I know I wouldn't touch this "freeware" with a 3.048 meter pole. For a
truely free antispam program (personal or otherwise) check out SpamBayes,
an open source, GNU licensed program available at
http://spambayes.sourceforge.net. I have no affiliation with SpamBayes,
other than as a satisfied user.
