What is a good freeware program for saving flash files.

"Flash" as in Macromedia flash, or as in files on a flash drive? Or
something entirely different?

"Saving"? In what respect? Backing up? I like Karen's Replicator.

You can check this out:

http://www.browsertools.net/Flash-Saving-Plugin/index.html

Browsers Supported:
Internet Explorer 5.5 and higher
IE-based browsers (Avant, Maxthon, etc. only with context menu item)
Mozilla Firefox (only browsing the cache)

It's somewhat "hit 'n miss" in that many sites don't want you to be
able to save their flash files, but with a little persistence and
load/save from cache you can get most of them.

Does the page info thing work for that in firefox? You right click on
the page and select page info and click on the media tab. Select the
media you want and click the save as button. I've never tried it so I'm
not sure if it will work.

If you're using IE, navigate to "temporary internet files" and search for
*.swf.
Find the one you want and save it somewhere else.

If using another browser, use the appropriate cache to search.
