Greetings.

Is there any freeware that can prevent a program for bein closed
accidentally or on purpose by another person?

For example to lock the program until a password is entered to unlock
it and close it?

I'm using WinXP Pro SP1.

Thank you.

If you don't find something to "prevent" shutdown, maybe "AutoRestart" will
help?

Scroll down to the bottom of the web page and look for "Auto Restart"
by Eric Holt.

"Auto Restart is a utilty that will keep any program running no matter what
happens to it. If a user closes the program or even if the program crashes,
Auto Restart will start it back up again. This is useful to keep programs
running in a kiosk environment, or to keep critical programs such as server
daemons from going off-line in the event of a program crash. Auto Restart
runs in the system tray and is password-protected so that only an
administrator can change its settings or shut it down."
