Freeware Stream Ripper Need

I am looking for a good stream ripper to record a shoutcast stream which one
do you guys reccommond. I have tried streamripper & stationripper & do not
like them lookin for another program.

I am also looking for something like you describe, but at the above webpage
the freeware ones seem to be out of service.

I had a freeware program once that simply saved/recorded any sound that
played on your PC. Does anyone know of this one or similar?

I like one I tried recently. Screamer:

It works quite will on Shoutcast. The program had a few bugs when I
tried it last but was no problem to use.

I used to use StreamRipper which is a plug in for WinAmp.
I've also used StationRipper which is a standalone version of the
plugin.

It always worked well for me. It's an open source project which is a
big plus.
