Hi,

I have done a google for the above, and turned up 10+ hits.
Problem is not one of them is actually freeware. :-(
I am after one that will ping monitor a number of servers.
thanks

Nagios, <http://www.nagios.org> is Open Source.

Admittedly it seems more of a full on monitoring solution than you may
be looking for. (I can't look closer as I work for the company that
owns BigBrother (which is what bb4 that Karen mentioned is), and I work
on the I/Watch and FogLight monitoring products.)

Cheers,

I've used Multi Tray Ping for quite a while. Nice &
simple and does the job. You can get it from Nonags
(bottom of page.)
