Freeware security for windows XP with following options ...

R

Rahman

Hi all,

I am looking for windows xp freeware security software to enable me with
some security options.

For example as Admin i don't want other users to Download anything in my PC,
Run ICQ, MSN or other
chat softwares which may causes virus attachs and maybe not allow to edit
Registry, Install new software etc.

Is there any freeware around?

regards

Everything you are asking for is already built into XP. Use XP's help menu to
search for info on policies.

You can setup your pc, as admin, such that other users can logon and only see
their documents and a specific menu that you create. Effectively, they will
only have execute access to whatever you allow, nothing more :)
