Freemoving split

Stu

Attached is a file where i am trying to get rows A through C to be free
moving from D onwards. This is so i can see the totals on the left can
be visible wherever you are on the spreadsheet. I have tried to use a
split but that hasn't gave me a scroll bar for up and down, only left
and right.

Does anyone have anysuggestions?

Thanks

Stu,

Haven't looked at the file (you won't get many opening attachments, but if
you select the cell you want to have the static cells, say C3, and then use
Windows>Freeze Panes, you should get what you want.

That doesn't work because as i move the sheet down the left moves with
it still. I want to be able to move the right side of the sheet totally
seperate to the left side.

That just gives me 2 of the same thing in 2 different windows.
What i need is something like a split but it needs to be able to scroll
both left and right, and up and down, not jus left to right.

But you can (with the creation of a #2 Window) then Go back to toolbar,
Window, Arrange... go Vertical !! both windows now have scroll-bars...

Yeah, i have tested that, but the problem is the spreadsheet is used by
many people, most of which have no idea how to do things like that. So
i need something as user friendly as possible.
