Freely Dragging Graphics

I've inserted a jpg. onto my page and am unable to move it freely around the
page, no matter what "positioning" attribute I choose. It always snaps back
to the original location, or will only move up or down a line. I do not have
the "Snap to Grid" option selected on the ruler/grid.

I know I used to be able to do this in FP 2000. I recently upgraded to 2003
and can't seem to figure out how to do this.

Any help greatly appreciated!

You may want to try selecting the picture and then in the Format menu choose
Remove Formatting. This way you can start from scratch. I prefer to do this
with the Reveal Tags (ctrl + /) option turned on. It allows you to more
accurately select the text/graphics from which you want to remove the
formatting. You may also want to check what the Wrapping Style is set to in
the picture properties dialog box.

Use tables to place your material and graphics ... not absolute positioning!
