Here's what you have to do to be free of trojans and viruses:
1) reinstall from scratch
2) from now on, use your computer as a regular user and NOT as administrator
3) use Firefox instead of the security-flaw riddled IE

This way you make ineffective 90% of the viruses/trojans out there, and
that's without running anti-virus software (which you can run to catch
the other 10%).

Also, you might want to use a newsreader and mail client that is not
susceptible to viruses, such as mozilla thunderbird, which comes highly
recommended.
