Google just introduced it's Google Pages (beta). Like the above you get
100MB of free space. Gmail account required.

It seems the competition has gone from offering free email services with
mega storage, to free web space with mega storage.

There was some web site which matched existing Gmail users with
newcomers. Heard it works well.

Personally, I wont use Gmail because of privacy issues (and because I
am so shady that I wear dark glasses at the PC to stay anonymous).

What are the extra charges your web page mentions?

For example, for the image galleries.

Just wanted to check out, maybe take advantage of the web space.

A very kind benefactor sent me an invite. So I can now investigate.

BTW, my web accounts basically send innocuous messages back and forth
so they aren't canceled. My ISP gives me ONE master account (don't
use for anything) and the right to name/rename a total of four sub
accounts. My headers show one of my current MUNGED ones.

At this point I wish to publicly thank my benefactor.

It's not the content of a given email which is the problem but the
aggregate information from knowing your Gmails and all your Google
searches. Taken together they permit data mining. This can lead to
profiling and other outputs from data massing.

Ugh. Not for me. Others may not care and that's ok. I care.
 
No, just free webspace. The design and FTP packages I recommend are
freeware also.
