Maybe that poster considers the Adobe Splash screen an "ad"? It is easily
tuned off...
Not so sure about the Adobe "A" in the corner though ...

no im not thinking adobe spalsh screen is an ad ,im just wondering if
there is a smaller freeware pdf reader.nothing more.

this is what I do:

download/find-on-CD v4 of acrobat reader. install. wipe all files EXCEPT:

AcroRd32.exe
Agm.dll
Cooltype.dll

fast, instant PDF viewing - but you lose all the fancy stuff (hyperlinking,
annotations, etc : which slow it down in the first place!)
