Free download - paint program

Hi all,

I remember seeing a yellow sheet of paper packaged with my new HP
Pavilion/Vista Home Premium that offered a free download for some
advanced paint program for editing images. Can't seem to find it now.

Is there a link for this?

If you want a recommendation of a free image app google for "paint.net".
or maybe GIMP windows port runs under vista?

I'll go check out paint.net, but what is GIMP? Is that similar to
photoshop or paintshop pro?

Clueless.
 
MY HP PS8250 cam with a mini-CD with ImageZone on it ....

You can download a current version of that.

If all you want is simple editing have a look at Irfanviw (Google on
that). Very compact. Very powerful with its add-ons. Shareware.
