Hmmmm - well I don't think he needs the freedom of the website, as he has that already.
As for promotion, I think he is already about as far as he can go, unless he was made Assistant/Deputy Editor-in-Chief?
How about creating 'The Muckshifter Outstanding Contribution Award' which he can present on a monthly or yearly basis to a member he feels (or in consultation with the Gang-of-Five) has made a significant contribution to the site? - maybe some sort of graphic could be created and put under that members username?

Why not just leave the old codger as he is ... content in what he does is enough.
I got 10,000 posts ... and? so?
I certainly do not wish any honours bestowing on me for something I find a pleasure in doing ... unless you can persuade the Queen that is.
I already 'consort' with the Gang of Four +1 ... requests are not always accepted ... I've had a few 'suggestions' accepted though.
