What kind of menu?

If you mean javascript based fly-out navigation, the *only* good ones I can
recommend are these three:

http://www.udm4.com (quite accessible, a bit pricey, lots of code)
http://www.projectseven.com (fairly accessible, nicely priced, including
tutorials on how to build it for free)
http://www.twinhelix.com/dhtml/fsmenu/ (I'm still evaluating this one, but
appears to be pretty solid. Donationware.)

None are tied specifically into .net, but all just create navigation based
off of nested UL, so you can easily make your own .net control to spit out
the proper HTML for the javascript to use.

How about the ASP.NET 2.0 Menu control, which comes with the product?
It's pretty slick, IMHO.

Yes, I did look at your site, Steve, so I guess you are famous. I happen to
need menus that drop down. Can yours so that?

Didn't you see the VisiPanel sample which Steve wrote ?
(in that same page...)

If you do, you'll see that VisiPanel works in a drop-down sort of way,
although it's not the traditional dropdown style.

If you don't like the way Steve's free VisiPanel works (for use as a menu),
he has listed 4 other menus whch you can try.

Also, there's a gazillion menus for ASP.NET listed at :
http://www.asp.net/ControlGallery/default.aspx?Category=32&tabindex=2

One of those might be the ticket you're looking for.

Besides those, ASP.NET has a built-in menu control which you can use:

And, of course, you can always write your own.

"Free" + "Drop down menu" + "GOOD" is a rare thing indeed.

But yea, we read that. Did you read the responses? I gave you two options
out of 3 good products that were free.
