framework 2.0 redist question about space

hello , i have the file dotnetfx.exe of 22.4MB , aprox 23MB, this is
..net framework 2.0 redist.....

i want to install this...but i dont want to create a mess in my computer...
so my question is , how much space exactly will take this from my HDD ??,
i've heard that is over 150MB , and what files and where there are ....

i hate when things like that put files all around in my computer, when
applications setups dont tell me exactly how much space will take, and just
assume that everyone likes to have the windows folder of a few GB, well, i
dont, and if my windows folder is over 1.3GB then i am angry, that's why i
hate windows vista .(and i like xp pro)

and one more question, how much space wil take java to install, becouse i
also hate java , and i deleted everything related to it?

Hello xgold,

don't know about java but the .NET 2.0 folder in c:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\
takes 150 mb

don't forgot that it has dublicated files from GAC, just to simplify development
and debuging
