frames and hyperlinks

Hello all

I'm using FP for the very first time
(so sorry in advance)
but I'm having problems with frames and hyperlinks
which I can't work out from the help file.

In <index.htm> I have three frames
- a small name frame in the top left corner <name.htm>,
- a top frame <tabs.htm> with hyperlinks leading to the various main pages,
(these two frames I want always to appear) and
- a main frame where the seven main pages
<01.htm> to <07.htm>
should appear as and when they're told to do so.

However, when I click on these hyperlinks along the top,
they insist on opening a new page
(without the top frames).

This seems strange because the very same hyperlinks
at various places in the main frame text work exactly as I want,
i.e. leaving the top frames in place and opening in the main frame at the
bottom.

What setting have I missed ?

Right click on the hyperlink in FP and then properties.
Click on target frame and select the frame in which you
want the link to open...
